Candidate address for the Parish Council By-election  -  6th May

GRANT FOWLER

Election Address for Grant Fowler – Parish Council Candidate.

7 Carew Cottages, Village Green Lane.

This is my second time living in this lovely Village and when I left in 2007 I always missed being here and returned early 2017. I grew up in Polegate and my family came here often to enjoy the beauty and also because family links and history.

My great uncle was the landlord of the Tiger Inn and his dad, my great great grandfather ran the Inn before him. I currently work as a self-employed Carpenter and Joiner and work locally in the Village quite often.

A recent project was extending and altering the Cricket club pavilion which was lovely to work there. I used to also teach my trade at the local college and was the Curriculum Leader running a busy department up to 2008, when I decided to go back to the tools and self-employment.

I am lucky enough to have an Allotment along Went Way and enjoy transforming the beautiful space and seeing what happens, last year I was thrilled with the vegetables and how the plants turned out.

I chose to stand as a Councillor when I heard there was vacancies as I have great gratitude for living here and would like to contribute in a positive way. Preserving this beautiful environment and listening to genuine concerns and issues wherever they arise is paramount to my involvement and helping in any way I can

.

Thank you Grant Fowler
