Chris Ray's son is OK

Many people locally and in the village societies will know that Chris and Evelyn's son Philip has lived,worked and brought up his family in Santiago, Chile, over the past 30 years. Chris has now heard that - whilst it was a frightening experience for them - they are all safe and well. They are working hard with the rescue plan, raising money, to get Chile back on its feet.
No doubt you will have seen on TV the total devastation in some parts which will need complete reconstruction. After less than a week it is no longer “news” in the press or media, but there is an ongoing need for funds to help the reconstruction.
