East Dean and Friston

Our club started over 20 years ago when the founders  got together to discuss setting up a Badminton Club in the new Village Hall, and it has proved to be very successful, not only to meet for Badminton, where we all benefit from the exercise, but also events like the club barbeque in the summer where we all relax and enjoy a great social occasion.

We are a lively ‘young at heart’ group  who enjoy playing a social game of Badminton with Table Tennis also being available.

We meet every Wednesday evening starting mid September and continuing to the end of May.  The session lasts from 6.30pm to 10pm.  The club provides racquets and shuttles and newcomers are entitled to 2 free sessions before committing to membership.
