Planned Roadworks for the Estate

Here is an update on the two further planned roadway activities:-

i) Tuesday 20 February - a number of junction markings around the Estate will be re-whitened (this work is weather dependent)

ii) Wed 28 Feb/Fri 1 Mar - road repairs in Michel Dene Road opposite Wenthill Close, adjacent to Deneside. This work will take two or three days and will require traffic control which will add to the timings of leaving and entering the Estate. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Dear Resident

We wish to advise you of some recent and planned roadwork activities on your Estate:-

i) a number of drains and gulleys have recently been inspected and we

await the reports to see what, if any, maintenance work is required

ii) the upper part of Summerdown Lane is being resurfaced on

Thursday & Friday 8 & 9 February (from no.23 to the site at no.46).

Road closure notices will be in place.

Please avoid leaving any vehicles on the roadway during this period.

The Thursday Cuckmere Bus will turn at The Link at travel back

 down Michel Dene Road

iii) we are planning for a number of junction markings to be re-whitened -

we'll advise of the dates when known

iv) we are planning for some road maintenance in Michel Dene Road opposite

Wenthill Close, adjacent to Deneside - we'll advise of the dates when known.

Please note this work will require traffic control which will add to the timings

of leaving and entering the Estate

v) a number of other works are being considered and further updates will be

provided in due course.

Finally, do let us know, on the email below, of any issues with any of the roads

or gulleys so we may consider including them in our future work programme.

And don't forget, our AGM is on 20 March in the village hall at 7pm.

All are welcome, but only shareholders may vote.

If you're not a shareholder and would like to be, please contact

Rowland at the email address below - we're currently waiving the £1 fee.

Many thanks
